When starting a Political Strategy and Lobbying Firm, John had hoped to find a name that would symbolize New Hampshire, and especially Concord. His first thoughts ran to the Granite, and the strength behind it, but he kept coming back to the beautiful and endangered Karner Blue Butterflies. The butterflies have been protected in the pine barrens on the Concord Heights. The butterflies, much like New Hampshire politics, is not only about strength, but also about transformation.
